This was the first time coming here and I enjoyed it. The food was good the cheesesticks and onion rings needed to be taken out of the fryer early but overall still really good the meat needs some salt and pepper for seasoning but I recommend coming here the staff is very polite and the atmosphere is fun.

Burgers were delicious! Beer battered fries are better than the original. Onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever had!! Actual restaurant needs some restoring but typical of this type of diner.

The waitress was as friendly as friendly could be. Burger was delicious. Fries were not. My wife's chefs salad was just plain amazing. The place is worth the trip for lunch any day of the week. The only thing missing is beer on race day.

Dawsonville Pool Room is a classic '50s-style burger joint with fantastic food and a nostalgic atmosphere. You can even play pool while you're there. The memorabilia and friendly staff make the experience special. It's a must-visit, especially for race fans. I had an amazing time there – the laid-back vibe, delicious burgers, and excellent service all contribute to a great experience. The historic charm adds to its appeal. Whether you're a local or passing through, this place is iconic and definitely worth a visit. I'm excited to return for more delicious food and good times!

Best burger around! The hand cut fries were perfect and cooked just like they are suppose to be. It’s annoying to read some of these reviews saying the fries weren’t cooked just because they are use to horrible fast food fries and never had fresh cut fries before.

Be aware: this is not a bar. I don't even think the town of Dawsonville has a bar 😂 We were driving back home from Atlanta on championship race day and decided to take a detour to Dawsonville to potentially watch the race there, as I'm a fan of Chase Elliott. Got there early, took some pictures, went inside, got a seat, looked at the menu, and were surprised to find that they did not serve beer. We had just had a late breakfast shortly before leaving Atlanta, so we weren't hungry. But we ordered a soda and an order of onion rings. I will say this much: I'm pretty certain those were the best damn onion rings I've ever had. Anyway, we figured we probably shouldn't stay. I didn't want to eat half a dozen burgers over the course of the day, but I also didn't want to take up real estate and not order anything. I bought a t-shirt and we left. It's a cool little spot full of so much history, but it could easily be a great place to actually sit and enjoy a race if they just served beer 🤷🏻‍♂️

Totally the spot light of our day. Seeing all the memorabilia they have and the owners/staff were so kind to us. My Philly cheese steak was great and the friends we were with said their food was great. We went their because of the "Elliott's" but would go again because of the people and food!

Absolutely believe the hype to this place. The bully burger didn't disappoint. Super friendly staff, great food and who doesn't love the Nascar atmosphere. Just have to visit on race day to hear the siren sound for an Elliott win. #Di9
